EDI is accepting submissions through June 15, for the Excellence Award for New Faculty. EDI will fund up to three awards ranging from $10,000 to $20,000, to those with innovative ideas for projects that address disparities among faculty, students, or staff at UC San Diego.

The Associate Vice Chancellors for Faculty Diversity and Equity are experienced campus leaders steering this effort through policy development, community building, and resources. They support the Faculty Equity Advisors and are available to deans, chairs, search committees, and faculty for guidance on issues related to diversity and equity.
Associate Vice Chancellor Natalia Molina
Dr. Molina is Associate Professor of History and Urban Studies, and has been on the UC San Diego faculty since 2001.
Associate Vice Chancellor Mary Blair-Loy
Dr. Blair-Loy is Associate Professor of Sociology, and has been on the UC San Diego faculty since 2004.
