The EDI Innovation grant is an initiative designed to pilot innovative faculty or staff driven projects that advance the diversity goals of UC San Diego's strategic plan. The EDI Grant Initiative favors proposals that have the potential to advance and sustain systemic changes. EDI expects to fund 8 to 10 projects, of up to $15,000 each.

The Associate Vice Chancellors for Faculty Diversity and Equity are experienced campus leaders steering this effort through policy development, community building, and resources. They are available to Deans, Chairs, Search Committees, FEAs, and other faculty for guidance on issues related to diversity and equity.
Interim Associate Vice Chancellor Emily Roxworthy
Dr. Roxworthy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre & Dance, an affiliate faculty in the Department of Ethnic Studies, and a member of the California Cultures in Comparatives Perspectives program at UC San Diego.
